​Service Operations Best Practice 
GovernancePolice Vetting every year for all staff, volunteers and trustees.
MSD level 2 approval.
Trustee liability insurance.
Public liability insurance.
 
OperationsPublic Office – with public access and disabled access.
All meetings with clients to be on organisation premises.
No clients to be met outside organisation premises other than in rooms hired by the organisation.
No Peer Support groups to be run off organisation’s premises.
Phone for each staff member: that is not their personal phone
Email address for each staff member: that is not their personal address
 
SecurityAll clients files to be kept in secure storage either electronically in cloud storage or in locked cabinet in organisations offices.
Electronic files to be stored in Ministry approved storage with cloud back-up.
All paper files to be kept in office in locked steel cabinet.
