Mosaic-Tiaki Tangata is an ACC-registered charity working with males of all ages in the Greater Wellington region who have experienced trauma and sexual abuse.
'Tiaki Tangata' is a name that was gifted to us from Ngati Toa. It translates to 'Our People'. 1 in 6 Kiwi males will experience sexual abuse, normally by the time they turn 25.

We are the only male sexual abuse agency in the Greater Wellington region with a Ministry of Social Development (MSD) Social Services Accreditation to work with vulnerable child, adolescent and adult survivors of male sexual abuse.
Our purpose is to empower male survivors of sexual abuse in their recovery process, and to work towards changing the way the community views sexual abuse of Kiwi males, the effects, the victims and the perpetrators.
The work we do has the potential to change the lives of many for the better, and to make a real and lasting contribution to New Zealand communities.

The Treaty of Waitangi
Mosaic-Tiaki Tangata honours the partnership inherent in the Treaty of Waitangi. The principles of the Treaty are adapted into Mosaic’s activities via consultation with and leadership from the Mosaic-Tiaki Tangata Kaumatua.
