Travel To the Venue

Click here for a map of Victoria University, to help you find your way to the conference/symposium venue for your attendance between the 10th-14th February.

The venue location is:

- The Memorial Theatre (SUMT228) at Wellington’s Victoria University
  Student Union Building, Kelburn Parade
  Kelburn
  Wellington.

The easiest access is from Kelburn Parade on the western side of the university. On the attached map, the Memorial Theatre is below Old Kirk/Kirk Wing, and above and to the right of the Mount Street Cemetery. It's just a 2-3 minute walk from the Kelburn Parade entrance to the venue.

For those of you who would like to take a bus to the venue, the number 22 bus leaves very regularly from Wellington Station - Stop C. It takes approximately 10 minutes to reach the university from Wellington Station. Once at the entrance near the type of Kelburn Parade (to the left of the bus stop), walk eastward toward the Old Kirk building. Enter the building and immediately go down the stairs to the Atrium. Then turn left and go through the double doors to access the venue.

If you are travelling by Uber or taxi, just ask to be dropped in front of the university entrance near the bus stop toward the top part of Kelburn Parade (there are a number of different entrances from Kelburn Parade).

Catering

For catering, we will be providing tea and coffee and biscuits. There are a variety of excellent cafes and food venues very close by on campus.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
